Camera

I finally found the cord to my new camera and am goiing to try to post some pictures of the snow we had last weekend. It doesn't seem possible that we had 12 to 19 inches and it was all gone bu Wednesday. I have some picture of it before any one messed up the front yard. As soon as I figure how to put the pictures on this site I will post them. Bear with me as I am really a novice at this.

Last of the snow

We were under about 12 inches of snow Saturday night. The white stuff came down so hard at times that I could not see the mail box at the edge of the drive. I have brick circle flower beds in my front yard and the snow completly covered them to where you could not see them.

Across the street, a family built a snow cave and it was cute watching them take pictures of their little boy and baby girl. I don't think the little one liked it much because she did not stay out long.

I do have pictures but am waiting on the replacement cord so I can load the pictures on the computer. I promise that there will be pictures as soon as the cable comes.

Feb. 9, am still looking

I am still looking for my cord to my new camera so I can post some pics. I hope to find it today when I clean up a little.
I have 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. My oldest has four step children and I guess that means that I have 4 more grand children and their kids are my great grandchildren also. I know 2 of those g-g-kids. They are lovely young ladies now.

Please pray for my couisin who has just be diagnosised with a fast growing cancer. He is a wonderful man and the world will have lost a good one when the Lord calls him home. God bless

Photos

I was hoping to have some pictures of my grandkids posted but I have misplaced the cord to my brand new camera and so maybe soon. I lose everything at least twice before I am able to use it. If I don't find it I guess I will have to contact the company and buy a new one.
We have had some bad weather here in Kentucky this year and it looks like some more is on its way. The only thing we have not had is the snow and ice so far. Just bad winds and rain, oh, and small tornados here in the Louisville area.
I am a big KY fan and they are on a roll. Go CATS

Second try at posting on my blog

I have had a time getting back to where I can add to the blog. I would like to tell you what my daughter's oldest child said the other day. Joy is from Hunan Province in China and has been in the US since 2003. Her mommy was sick this week and she was feeling a little left out because Mommy couldn't play with her. So she decided to compliment my daughter.
Joy told her that her momminest was the best. It was worth 152,000,000. Kathy said well is that 152,000,000 kisses and Joy said no. Kathy then asked if that was 152,000,000 hugs and again Joy said no. Then she said that it was 152,000,000 dollars mommy. Isn't that the cutest thing. It is amazing what some of our grandkids come up with.
I am still not able to get pics up yet. Will soon put pics of the youngest, Hailey's 2nd birthday.,

First blog

This is a first for me so bear with me. I will try to load some pictures as soon as I can get my new camera to upload for me.
I am Grammy to 3 grandchildren and Meemaw to 4. I also have 3 great grandchildren. My it is great to see my family go on.
My daughter has adopted from China and the girls are beautiful. Hope my blog is more interesting as I learn how to use it. God bless each of you as you journey the path God has set out for you.
